Because of this, it makes using Display Capture in OBS a pain in the ass because I have to constantly make sure that OBS is capturing the correct monitor:

When logging into Windows, DisplayFusion runs a script that makes sure my apps are on the correct monitor. So no compatibility settings enabled on TF2 but trying with a couple of other games that i would usually run in borderless windowed mode, switched them back to fullscreen mode and same problem with them on exit.

Task bar briefly goes to full width of the screen (the three splits with shortcuts remain) and moments later taskbar returns to the centre as setup in display fusion.

But how it worked is that I would open the browser or Discord on my secondary monitor and press a hotkey combination, then a noise would play, then I'd open the game in fullscreen on my primary monitor, and put in the same hotkey, and the same noise would play. Whenever I use the hotkey again to disable whatever it is it did, a different noise would play.

But now, I can only have one window open at a time. If I have the browser open, then I open the game, the browser window disappears (I think it technically goes behind the game window). And the only way to bring it back is to tab out of the game, which minimizes the game window.

Sorry for the lack of detail, I hope this explains what I had set up. Do any of y'all know how to make that happen again?

Edit: I seem to have fixed the issue. There's no soud effect now, but I put the game in borderless windowed mode, and I have a hotkey that unlocks the cursor from the window, so I can still interact with the browser. Changing the taskbar polling rate back to the default provided a small improvement. I may have increased the polling rate a few months ago because I thought it might help with the DisplayFusion issues I was seeing, especially when the icon status was not refreshing, the usual animations were not displaying, and DisplayFusion was freezing. Increasing the polling rate did seem to alleviate some of the problems, but I ignored the remaining issues until a few weeks ago.
