Theophilus Outis' profile on WallpaperFusion.com
Hi,

I submitted several wallpapers today, but all were rejected for copyright? I don't understand. The creator was credited in each case, his website is given as the source, and I have his personal approval to post his work here. I tried to contact someone via the link provided in the post submission guidelines, but that link is dead apparently. If the work isn't adequate or contrary to the tastes of the administrator(s), I can understand rejection on those grounds perhaps. But copyright? Not when I have permission directly from the creator of the works. He said he'd be glad to email someone from his website email address to give permission.

Thanks!

When we approve an image we always look at the source website to make sure it's OK to share. In this case, the images were from a site which stated that the images could be used for personal use only. In our experience this usually means the source site doesn't want their images uploaded to other (commercial) wallpaper sites. If this isn't the case, and the images are free to use, can you let us know (and show us the permission you've been given) and we'll go through the approvals again? Thanks! :)

I'd be glad to, but the link under submission guidelines takes me to a page that says:

This site can’t be reached

contact’s server DNS address could not be found.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

I've decided to attach and upload an email permission file with this post.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I'm sure the artist does, too.
