Some of my photo's keep getting rejected with this message:
Rejected: Image is low quality or doesn't scale/crop well

The images are 1920 x 1080 so it cannot be a size issue but the photo's were taken with the same camera on the same settings as images that have been accepted.
Can you claify as to why my images are being rejected.

Alan

Hi Alan, most of your images are amazing, but a couple of them are a bit noisy or just lower quality. When they are cropped for desktop wallpapers, the rejected ones don't look as good as your other ones. I hope this explanation helps. Thanks! :)

Ok but what I dont understand is that three images out of five were accepted and they were all taken with the same camera on the same settings.
Not to worry though, I will look harder at the quality in future.

Yet again I have had three photo's rejected yet two of the rejected images were taken on the same day as one that was accepted. Yet again they were taken with the same camera and same settings.

I shall not bother to post anymore images as the rejection notice is too open ended and dosnt tell the proper reason for the rejection.

Hi Alan, I'm sorry to hear that. Your computer generated images are amazing and very popular on the site. Many of your photographs look great too, but there are some that are too noisy or grainy. For example, your upload "The Dome" is very noisy, it looks like a high-ISO was used and resulted in lots of noisy colours. This is really noticeable when the image is scaled up as well. I hope that you'll keep submitting images, even if not 100% of them are posted. :)
